Chris Efstathiou Joins G2 Technology Board of Directors
San Jose CA, – February 15, 2010 – G2 Technology today announced the appointment of Chris Efstathiou to its Board of Directors. “Chris brings a wealth of knowledge, experience, and diverse viewpoints about challenges that the industry faces in all manner of supply chain related topics to G2 Technology’s board of directors,” said Ben Weisshaut, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors, G2 Technology.
Mr. Efstathiou is Vice President Global Supply Chain at Research In Motion (RIM), a leader in the worldwide mobile communications market and the company behind the award-winning BlackBerry® solution. A seasoned executive, Mr. Estathiou has more than 25 years of experience in the electronics industry. Mr. Efstathiou joined RIM in September of 2005. Previously, Mr. Efstathiou worked from March of 2000 to September 2005 as Vice President of Procurement for Marconi Plc. Prior to Marconi, Mr. Efstathiou was involved for more than 17 years in high-tech procurement and supply chain, including 5 years with Dell Computer Corporation, 5 years with Tanisys Technology, and 3 years with Wang Laboratories, Inc.
