Bomdila Village Project
The village of Bomdila, located in the Himalayan foothills near China, is the home of a severely impoverished community of Indian people that grew up around the monastery of the Gyuto monks. This village, which is an extended community of the monastery, lacks the rudimentary necessities of life, such as adequate health care and nutrition, education, and housing. G2 has sponsored various projects in Bomdila, providing financial aid for educational opportunities as well as food, clothing and other necessary supplies.
